Brief: To design a theatre poster for a play using metaphor and symbolism relevant to the subject matter.
I designed this poster for the Victorian crime/thriller, The Man/Woman Case. The ribcage represents themes of Victorian repression and restriction, ideas of the body and the self, entrapment, and adds a certain morbidity relevant to the play. The butterfly represents the heart and entrapment/freedom.
